St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Parish – Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines

The St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Parish or St. Joseph Church, is a church located in Poblacion in the municipality of Bongabong, province of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines. The church is only a few blocks away from Bongabong’s municipal hall and its public market.

Celebrating 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines in 2021, St. Joseph Church was declared as one of the over 500 Jubilee Churches across the country.

The church was founded in 1938 and the feast of its patron is on March 19, which is also the town’s celebration of the Sulyog Festival.

St. Joseph Church has a tall bell tower with a facade decorated with intricate screen blocks with a spacious parking and open area.
