San Agustin Church – Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines


San Agustin Church is the oldest stone church in the Philippines founded in 1571, and completed on 1607. Located inside the historic walled district of Intramuros, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and declared as a National Historical Landmark.

The San Agustin Church is also one of the four Baroque Churches of the Philippines, which is a collection of four Spanish Colonial-era baroque churches in the Philippines, together with Santa Maria Church in Ilocos Sur, Paoay Church in Ilocos Norte, and Miagao Church in Iloilo.

The church is also known as the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation and Cincture, or the Immaculate Conception Parish.
